Work Placement the Benefits and Challenges For Both the Employer and the Student

The biggest problem is finding placements, we struggle to find outstanding placements for our students and I would like to explore further and find out why there is a reluctance to accept students and how I can change employer’s attitude towards the students. Last year I had a total of 500 students attend a placement, given the large number of students, we occasionally get a student who has a difficult time at placement or does not attend regularly, this immediately puts the employer off having further students, so I am going to look at what I can do to minimise any misunderstandings and actively seek to retain employer support for a more consistent process.
